Wildlife Pond, Berkshire

The client wanted to convert an overgrown area in to a wildlife pond with a spot where they could sit and enjoy the evening sun. One of the biggest considerations for the project was that the clients had an established badger set so the pond had to be a distance away from this. The pond had varying depths, a small cascade, and sloping banks so as to encourage a range of wildlife in to the area. A boardwalk across the pond led to the new seating area and blocks of wildlife friendly planting was used around the pond.
