We offer consultancy and design services on how to create edible ‘forest gardens’, using Permaculture principles. Unlike high maintenance traditional vegetable gardens, forest gardens are based on using perennial plants, trees and shrubs which makes them lower maintenance, attractive and long lasting.
While called ‘forest gardens’, they don’t need to be large, dense forests but can easily fit in a small back garden. They are an interesting and easy way to grow a wide range of edible crops, such as fruits, nuts, edible leaves and spices.
Helen studied with the renowned Martin Crawford from Agroforestry Research Trust, a leading expert in Forest Gardens and temperate agroforestry.
