The property had horse stabling and fields which, as the present owners didn’t ride, were converting in to useable spaces. We were brought in to design an new garden area which was on the site of an existing manage close to the house. From the existing garden through clipped yew hedges, the new area was planted up with prairie-style borders surrounding a large play lawn. Mass planting was used to create blocks of colour and the planting was kept low enough so as not to obstruct the views down the valley.
