A contemporary terrace was created for the clients to use as their main entertaining/dining area. Hardwood decking lead out from the living room down to the new terrace, and stainless steel wire balustrade allows views of the rest of the garden from within the house. The lower terrace had horizontal slatted screening on both boundaries to give this area a lovely enclosed feeling. A water feature uses the deck retaining wall and adds noise and movement to the terrace.
